About Us

The Texas Association of Dairymen (TAD), a unified voice for the state’s dairy industry since 1991, advocates for the interests and benefit of dairy farmers at the Texas Legislature and other governmental and regulatory bodies.

TAD members are four milk marketing cooperatives whose individual dairy farmer members produce milk in Texas. Cooperatives pay fees to TAD based on the amount of milk produced monthly by their members.

TAD’s Board of Directors includes dairy farmers and associate members. Cooperative board representation is based on the size of their membership as well as the amount of milk marketed in Texas.
